Ambassador Seymur Mardaliyev met with Volodymyr Demchuk, Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

Noting that comprehensive relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine are at a high level, the visits and contacts of the heads of states in recent years have opened up new prospects for cooperation, Ambassador mentioned the state of cooperation in the field of combating emergency situations. He noted that in addition to the bilateral format, cooperation in this area is also actively developing within the framework of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development - GUAM, and emphasized that Azerbaijan, which chairs the organization in 2024, will pay attention to this direction, as well as in all areas cooperation

V. Demchuk expressed his gratitude for the humanitarian aid that Azerbaijan provides to Ukraine and declared readiness for cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral formats.
